My client had inherited a ring from her family and wanted to use three of the stones to make a new engagement ring. She had seen a three stone diamond ring on my site and wanted to incorporate the trellis design into her new ring. Originally she was thinking all 18K yellow gold but in the end decided on platinum for the diamonds and 18K yellow for the band. We removed the stones, made a CAD image for approval and set the pears facing out for extra width.

I have owned this band for over 15 years. It opens to fit over my arthritic knuckles and then closes for my ring size. I was able to show her pictures of rings that I liked as well as some special motifs that I wanted incorporated, and she dreamed up a novel design that incorporated them all.
