We transformed blue lapis lazuli cabochons from a late father's cherished cufflinks into beautiful rings for a mother and her three daughters—creating wearable keepsakes that keep them bonded and him close to their hearts.
This elegant Fleur de Lis ring features one of the lapis lazuli stones from the original cufflinks, set in 14K yellow gold with a family crest that we designed. The Fleur de Lis symbol, a family favorite, represents faith, wisdom, and chivalry—a fitting tribute to honor his legacy.
The Story of This Transformation:
When our client came to us with her father's cufflinks containing four lapis lazuli stones, we knew this project required special care and sensitivity. We designed matching rings incorporating the Fleur de Lis motif, using the lapis cabochons from the cufflinks as the centerpieces. We also incorporated diamonds from another unworn family ring, ensuring every element carried meaning and memory.
The result was four beautiful rings—one for the mother and one for each of the three daughters—allowing each family member to carry a piece of their family with them always.
