Lotus Ring with Diamond and Sapphires
This custom lotus flower engagement ring was born from a meaningful conversation about culture, symbolism, and love.
After learning that the groom is Hindu and his fiancée is Chinese, we suggested a lotus flower to hold the center stone—a symbol that beautifully represents both of their cultures. The lotus embodies purity, enlightenment, and rebirth in both traditions, making it the perfect foundation for their union.
When asked if there was a significant number to incorporate, he shared that the number eight holds special meaning. We designed the ring with eight accent stones—four Ceylon sapphires which are prized gemstones from Sri Lanka , on either side of the band—to honor this symbolism.
