Sadly my ring in its original setting was way too small to fit over my knuckles , however, my finger was still about the sake size. We hired The Perfect Setting to reset it adding new stones and updating the style. Amy suggested the (finger fit®) adjustable band to allow me to wear it on both fingers and create a sleek, comfortable fit. We had never heard of this option and it worked out beautifully. We worked on the design together and Amy was able to show me computerized images prior to committing to the final design. The end result is beyond gorgeous. I will never use anyone else again. "I found Amy Certilman through an engine search online. I had a very old diamond that was left to me and wanted a special ring made. Amy is extremely patient and listened to my description. She had some beautiful designs in her portfolio. She and I discussed what kind of ring I wanted which was a "right hand" ring. Amy worked on the first design but it wasn't exactly what I wanted. So she said she would start again. I saw something I liked and showed it to her. With that design she made some important changes so that the light could shine through the diamond. This whole process was truly "custom," and Amy demonstrated great patience with me (since I was scared to death and had never done this before) as we built this project together. She is an efficient project manager and had the ring in my hand 3 weeks earlier than I needed (now its burning a hole in my pocket). She is also, and more importantly, a great craftsman. As I said before, the ring is far more brilliant and perfectly suited to my girlfriend, than I ever could have gotten from a regular jeweler. Thanks for the great work! "Amy designed an amazing engagement ring for my fiance and I-- truly a "perfect setting." We met with her locally, at our convenience. She listened to exactly what I wanted and had already spoke to my fiance about what he wanted, his budget, etc. She gave us honest and insightful input and showed us pictures and samples of things that were in-line with our criteria.
