Shipping and Returns

Shipping:

We fully insure your jewelry when sending. 

Domestic Shipping:

We use FedEx with full insurance 

Returns:

Due to the nature of customized jewelry, unless notified in writing that an item is returnable or exchangeable, all custom made jewelry is a final sale.

If approval is given for a return or store credit:

We will provide you with shipping instructions. 
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a credit, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

For items that are marked returnable:

We want you to be happy with your purchase, so if for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return any item without custom engraving or sizing in its original condition for an exchange or future store credit. Some limits apply on special order items and special size items (such as rings), so please contact us for details.

Returns: 7 days from the date of delivery.

Shipping is not refundable.

Return shipping charges will only be refunded due to discrepancies and errors of The Perfect Setting. We only refund up to the price of “standard ground” shipping.

Returns may take one to two weeks to process and at least one billing cycle for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.

Processing a Return:

STEP 1) Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA): Contact us at 516-422-1220 or email to receive an RMA number. RETURNS ARRIVING WITHOUT AN RMA WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE RETURNED TO SENDER. RMA's EXPIRE IN 14 DAYS.

STEP 2) Send item to The Perfect Setting. Please box all packages (more secure then envelopes). Include your RMA number, order number and original packaging. Include any diamond certificates, appraisals, certificates of authenticity (if not returned, you may be liable for a $350 replacement cost).

STEP 3): Upon receipt, the item will be reviewed by our Inventory Control department. Please note that items showing signs of wear, have security tags removed, have been engraved, altered, re-sized, or damaged cannot be accepted. Rings ordered in sizes not in stock are non-returnable. Returns without a receipt or items that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused receipt.

The Perfect Setting is not responsible for lost packages, therefore you should Fully Insure Your Package.
